Gnocchi alla Sorrentina — An Easy Italian Classic

1L Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Casa Rinaldi (you’ll need 2 tbsp for cooking)

Fresh basil leaves, salt, and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Make the Sauce
Heat 2 tablespoons of Casa Rinaldi Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a pan over medium heat. Add Mazza Tomato Sauce with Basil and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in a few fresh basil leaves.
2. Cook the Gnocchi
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the Casa Rinaldi Potato Gnocchi and cook until they float to the surface, about 2–3 minutes. Drain and add them directly to the tomato sauce.
3. Add the Cheese
Mix in half of the cubed CIAO Fresh Mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan. Stir gently until the cheese starts melting.
4. Bake
Transfer the mixture to an ovenproof dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 10–15 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
5. Serve
Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot. Enjoy a delicious Italian classic at home.
For an extra touch, drizzle a little Casa Rinaldi Extra Virgin Olive Oil on top before serving. Serve with toasted bread or a simple salad for a complete meal.
